Thank you for your ongoing support of the Michigan Physiological Society (MPS). This year’s Annual Conference was one of our most successful yet, with 168 attendees from across the state, including outstanding participation from student trainees.

We are particularly proud of the quality of engagement, the professional development opportunities we were able to offer, and the number of institutions represented. Thanks to thoughtful cost control (including meal opt-outs that saved over $3,400), we were able to stretch our resources further than ever. However, unanticipated costs, such as $2,200 in uncapped parking fees, have placed additional strain on our budget, especially as we work to finalize student award disbursements.

MPS is an all-volunteer organization, and every dollar raised is used to support our mission: elevating physiology education and providing meaningful recognition for student excellence. We are reaching out to institutions that participated in or supported the conference to help us close this final gap.
